Oatmeal-Raisin Sandwich Bread

This perfect tender oat-raisin bread with a slightly sweet taste is so good for making toast or sandwiches.

Ingredients:
1 cup skim milk
1 tbs butter
3 tbs sugar
1 1/4 tsp salt
1 cup oat meals
3 cups bread flour
2 tsp active dry yeast
1/2 cup raisins
1 tbs soft butter for greasing loaf pan

Directions:
In a bread machine, place all the ingredients (except the raisins) into the bread pan. Select the dough setting and press start. About 10 minutes before the end of the second kneading cycle, check the consistency as necessary with additional flour or water. Add the raisins about 5 minutes before the end of the final kneading cycle. Let dough finish rising in the machine. Transfer dough to a lightly floured surface. Shape dough into a log and place log into a lightly buttered 9" x 5" loaf pan. Cover the pan with a lightly greased plastic wrap and allow dough to rise in a warm place for another 40 minutes. Bake in preheated oven set to 350° for 35 minutes. Tent the bread with aluminum foil for the last 10 minutes if it appears to be browning too quickly.
