Salmon with Sweet and Sour Sauce

When it comes to bringing both a simple, appetizing meal and bringing a healthy meal to the family, salmon was an easy choice. Scientifically proven, the salmon has a huge amount of Omega-3. A daily meal with salmon will help to stretch women’s skin to smooth and helps to improve memory and to fight aging. Besides, salmon is  cooked very quickly and that is very convenient for busy women. Today, I am introducing a salmon dish that is processed very quickly, and most home kitchens already have all the ingredients.

Ingredients:
1 salmon fillet, sliced in thick pieces
1/8 tsp salt
1/4 tsp seasoning
1/8 tsp black pepper
1 tbs cornstarch
Sauce ingredients:
1 tomato, finely diced
1/4 cup, finely diced pineapple
1/4 cup chopped white onion
1 garlic clove minced
1 tsp chili flakes
Equal 2 tsp quantities of sugar, vinegar, soy sauce, ketchup, and lemon juice
1/4 cup water
 Other ingredients:
2 tbs oil
Chopped cilantro and green onions

Directions:
In a bowl, combine the salt, seasoning, black pepper, and the salmon. Marinate the salmon for one hour.

Sprinkle 1 tbs of cornstarch over the salmon.

Heat half of the oil in a nonstick skillet. Pan-fry the marinated salmon until opaque. Remove and keep warm.

To make the sauce:
In the same skillet, add oil. Add garlic and onions.

Stir and cook until fragrant. Add tomatoes, pineapple, and chili flakes.

Cook for 5 minutes and add sugar, soy sauce, vinegar, ketchup, and lemon juice. Add water if it appears too dry.

Adjust the seasoning to your liking with more sugar or lemon juice.
Return the fish to the skillet. Cook and stir to mix the fish with the sauce.

Serve on a plate. Top with cilantro and green onions. Enjoy this dish with hot cooked rice.
