Salmon is a healthy fish, but some people feel intimidated to
prepare it. This recipe will chase away the fear of cooking salmon. It needs
only a few ingredients, and most of these ingredients are already in our
kitchen. I hope this recipe will stay in everyone’s family cookbook.
Ingredients:
Two 6 oz. salmon fillets
Marinade ingredients:
2 tbs lemon or lime juice
2 tbs honey
2 tbs soy sauce
1 garlic clove, minced
1 tsp honey mustard
Others:
1 tbs oil
2 green onions, sliced
Directions:
Combine all the marinade
ingredients in a Ziploc® bag. Add salmon fillets. Refrigerate for a couple of
hours.
Remove salmon and reserve the
marinade.
Heat oil in a nonstick pan
until hot; place salmon in a sauté pan. Sear salmon 2 minutes on each side.
Pour the reserve marinade into
a pan and cook 1 to 2 minutes. Sprinkle with some green onions on top.
Serve with rice.
