Miso-Glazed Salmon for Two

This is another delicious and simple miso-salmon recipe. This salmon can be baked, broiled or pan fried.
Ingredients:
Two-6 oz. salmon fillets
Marinade:
2 tbs miso paste
2 tbsp sake'(Japanese rice wine)
2 tbs mirin
2 tbs soy sauce
2 tsp brown sugar
1 tsp each of fresh minced ginger and garlic
Garnish with fresh basil

Directions:
Whisk all the marinade ingredients in a mixing bowl. Place salmon fillets onto the baking dish if you plan to bake or broil. Pour the marinade over the salmon fillets and turn over to coat them well. Cover and refrigerator for a few hours.
Salmon needs to be at room temperature 1 hour before cooking. Spray some oil over salmon.
If baking, preheat oven to 375° and bake salmon for 15 minutes (turning them over after 7 1/2 min. in the oven).

If boiling, turn on broiler and broil salmon until golden brown on each side for about 5 to 7 minutes.
If pan frying, in a nonstick pan over medium heat, place salmon and panfried fish until it flakes easily with fork, about 5 minutes on each side.
