Steamed Salmon with Vegetables

Eating healthy does not mean “stuck in a rut ". Some people think that eating healthy is limited to nuts, whole grains, and vegetables. They cannot bring themselves out of their comfort zone to make a new exciting meal. Therefore, the recipe that I will introduce here is an easy one to prepare for a quick, tasty, and healthy dinner.

Ingredients:
Two 6 oz salmon fillets
1 tsp cooking wine
1/2 tsp salt and pepper
Sauce
2 tbs Tahiti paste
1 tbs soy sauce
1 tbs hot water
1 tbs red wine vinegar
1/2 tsp hot chili paste
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp honey
Vegetables
2 oz bok choy
2 button mushrooms, sliced
1 tsp fresh ginger, minced
2 tsp sesame oil
Chopped green onions for garnish

Directions:
Rub fish with cooking wine, salt, and pepper. Let marinate in refrigerator for 1 hour.
Mix sauce ingredients and mix well and add to the fish
On a stovetop, place the steamer over high heat to boil.
Divide the vegetables equally on top of the fish and place onto the steamer. Steam for 15  minutes. .Sprinkle with green onions and drizzle with sesame oil and steam for another 3 minutes . Serve.
