Easy Garlic Butter Shrimp

This simple garlic butter shrimp recipe is quick and delectable. It demands minimal cooking skills yet yields impressive results, ideal for a speedy meal. If parsley is unavailable, you may replace it with any other herb of your choice.

 

Ingredients:

  • 8 oz. of shrimp (about 10 to 12 medium shrimp)
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp chicken broth
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

Directions:

1.    Preparing the Shrimp:

·         Wash and peel the shrimp.

2.    Cooking the Shrimp:

·         In a medium nonstick pan, add the olive oil and butter.

·         Bring to a boil, then add the shrimp.

·         Season the shrimp with salt and pepper.

3.    Flip the Shrimp:

·         When the shrimp starts curling, flip them over.

4.    Adding Broth and Garlic:

·         Add the chicken broth to seal in the juice from the shrimp.

·         Add the minced garlic and cook until the sauce evaporates.

5.    Final Touches:

·         Adjust the seasoning with more salt if needed.

·         Add the lemon juice and chopped parsley.

·         Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious garlic butter shrimp!
