Vietnamese Dipping Sauce



 Ingredients:

1 cup fish sauce

2 cups water

1 cup sugar

1/3 cup vinegar

1/1 tbs salt

2 slices of fresh pineapple or 1 cup frozen pineapple

Directions:

Bring water to boil; then add the rest of the ingredients.  Turn heat down to simmer and cook for 10 minutes. Let it cool. Remove the pineapple. Store in a glass jar with lid in the refrigerator.

To make a dipping sauce.

Add lemon juice, garlic, and chillis every time you want to use for egg rolls, grilled chicken or pork.
