Shrimp Stir-Fried with Green Beans and Curry

This dish is quick to make yet packed with nutrients.  It’s a perfect option for a busy day, with minimal preparation and cooking time.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 lb. shrimp, shelled and deveined
  • 100g snow peas, ends trimmed
  • 1/2 white onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons oil

Sauce Ingredients:

  • 1 teaspoon curry powder
  • 1 teaspoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon mushroom seasoning

Directions:

1.    Preparing Ingredients:

·         Wash, shell, and devein the shrimp.

·         Rinse snow peas and remove the stem ends.

2.    Making the Sauce:

·         Mix curry powder, oyster sauce, soy sauce, salt, sugar, water, and mushroom seasoning in a small bowl.  Set aside.

3.    Cooking the Dish:

·         Heat oil in a wok over medium heat.

·         Sauté minced garlic until fragrant.

·         Add shrimp and snow peas, then turn the heat to high.

·         Pour in the prepared sauce, boil, and stir well to combine.

·         Turn off the heat and serve immediately.

Enjoy this flavorful and wholesome dish with steamed rice for a complete meal!

Tip:

You can cook the curry powder with garlic to enhance the flavor of this dish
