Chocolate Zucchini Bread

The shredded zucchini is a surprise ingredient for this bread. The moist, tender, and not overly-sweet taste will make this bread everybody's favorite.
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 cup good coco powder
1/4 cup chocolate chips
1 cup sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 cup raisins
1 1/2 cups shredded zucchini
2 eggs
6 oz apple sauce
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 tsp vanilla
2 tbs melted butter
2 tbs flour

Directions:
Preheat oven to 375°
Butter and flour an 8" x 5" x 5" loaf pan.

In a mixing bowl, combine the first seven ingredients.

In another small bowl, combine walnuts, raisins and shredded zucchini.

Using a hand mixer, beat well the eggs, oil, apple sauce. Add vanilla.

 Add the flour mixture and beat until combined.

 Stir in zucchini mixture until well blended together.



 Pour the batter onto the prepared loaf pan.

  Smooth the surface. Bake in the oven for 50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Let cool in the pan before serving
