Turkey-Artichoke Pizza

Pizza is everyone's favorite. It is wonderful to make at home because the toppings and the sauce have the personal touch. I think making pizza is fun, and the family can join together, especially for the kids who will definitely demand their own toppings. There is a simple way to make pizza using store-bought pizza dough and all the toppings that are available and putting them together at home and taking full credit for this tasty treat.
Ingredients:
1 store-bought pizza dough
1/2 cup cooked turkey or chicken (leftover roasted turkey or chicken will do)
1/4 cup artichoke hearts marinated in oil, chopped
1/4 cup thinly sliced mushrooms
1/4 cup blanched spinach, chopped
2 tbs chopped sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
1/4 cup caramelized onions
1/2 cup of equal amounts of mozzarella and Cheddar cheese
Sauce:
2 cloves garlic, chopped
2 tbs butter
1 tbs olive oil
Directions:
Making the sauce
In a small sauté pan, add oil, butter and garlic. Cook until the garlic becomes fragrant. Remove and let cool
On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough as thick or thin as you want (about an 8 inch diameter).

Preheat oven to 400 ° using a pizza stone, if available.
Assembling the pizza
Place pizza dough onto  a pizza pan  and brush the pizza dough with a generous amount of garlic sauce. Spread half of the cheese and caramelized onion.

The first layer is artichokes. Then follow with mushroom, spinach and sun-dried tomatoes. The last topping is the other half of the cheese.

Pour any garlic sauce left on top. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until the crust is golden brown or cheese melted.
