Stir-fried Cabbage and Tomatoes

Here is my simple vegetable dish, prepared and finished in less than 15 minutes.

Ingredients:
3 cups white cabbage
1 medium-sized tomato
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tsp chili flakes
2 green onions, chopped
1/2 tsp each soy sauce, salt and pepper
1/4 cup water
2 tbs oil

Directions:

Wash and cut cabbage and tomato into bite-size pieces.

Combine water with soy sauce, salt and pepper. Set aside.
In a wok over high heat, add oil, garlic and tomato. Stir briefly. Add cabbage, chili flakes, and the water mixture. Cover and cook until cabbage has softened, about 3 minutes. Sprinkle with green onions and serve with a bowl of steamed rice.
