Ingredients:
Two 8 ounce tuna fillets
Marinade
1 tbs cooking wine
1 tsp salt
2 tsp olive oil
Flavor
1/4 cup of chopped onions
1/4 cup scallions, thinly sliced
1 tbs each ginger, garlic, minced
1 tsp hot chili paste (Korean bean paste)
Sauce
3 tbs ketchup
1 tbs each shaoxing wine, sugar
1/2 cup chicken stock, fish stock or water
1/2 tsp sesame oil
1/2 tsp cornstarch
Directions:
Rinse fish and pat dry. Place fish in baking dish and marinate for 30 minutes.
Preheat oven to 400°. Bake fish for 15 minutes.
While fish is baking, place a sauté' pan over medium heat. Add oil and stir-fry the flavor mixture until fragrant (about 3 minutes).
Mix in the sauce. Cook until the sauce is thickened.
Pour over baked fish and serve over a bowl of rice.
