Sweet-Egg Bread


This sweet-egg bread tastes like pound cake but with fewer calories. When I crave pound cake, this bread is an excellent substitute.
Ingredients:
1/3 cup water
1/4 cup half and half
2 eggs
1 tsp salt
1/4 stick of butter or margarine
3 tbs sugar
3 cups bread flour
2 tsp active dry yeast
Directions:
Place all the ingredients in the order listed above in bread pan machine. Select the dough function and press start.
When dough cycle is finished, remove dough from bread pan and place onto a lightly-floured surface.

Butter or oil a 10" x 6" loaf pan. Place dough in the same shape as the loaf pan.

Cover with a kitchen towel. Let dough rise in a warm place for anther 40 minutes or until double in size. Bake in preheated oven set to 350° for 30 minutes.
